Why is Focus so special?
At Focus we fully understand and accept the huge responsibility we hold to provide children with an exiting start to their education.
We are housed in a building by ourselves with a bright, warm, homely and safe atmosphere. It is surrounded by an attractive, large private garden.
We provide a secure, stimulating and structured environment where each child's development is nurtured by very well-qualified, widely experienced and cheerful staff who love and care for children passionately.

We are completely up-to-date with all new initiatives in early years and childcare. We ensure each child develops their special abilities to the full or overcome their difficulties in a relaxed atmosphere.
We welcome all children and families. We aim to treat everyone with equal care and concern, taking into consideration all aspects of our diverse world and meeting the needs of the individual.
All previous OFSTED reports are available on request. Focus Nursery School was last inspected by Ofsted in February 2006 and provides OUTSTANDING Care and Education. To view the report please go to the OFSTED website. We are the first Full Day Care setting in the whole of Dorset to have achieved OUTSTANDING in all areas.
We enjoy a strong working relationship with Wareham Middle School that lets us use many of their facilities, including the large grounds and the school hall. We also have strong links with The Lady St Mary’s First School and Prime Time After School and Holiday Club offering an escorted service between providers allowing complete wrap around care between the hours of 7:30am - 6:00pm if required. We will also offer this service to other Schools if requested.
